I know a guy out here in Strathmore that has been making bio diesel in his garage and I have been running it for the past couple of months now getting good fuel economy and no noticeable power loss. (11 liters per 100 km.) I have a pyro in my van and it has been running cooler on bio. Does that make sense?
While he is not wanting to get into this real big time, yet, he does have a bit of a supply and wanted me to float the idea on our forum about forming a CO-OP. He would like to set something up where people would bring him waste oil and he would do all the processing. I don't know exactly how this would work, but let me know if you're interested and what all your questions/thoughts are.

Yes! I'd be interested.
To be honest, I'm really not that well educated (yet) on the production, etc. of biodiesel, as I just knew that I didn't have the space to do the processing myself. But I would be interested in joining this co-op and assisting in any way.
Looking forward to more info/interest as this thread grows!

Is this a go? I'd be very interested in joining in and doing my part!
You've never heard of the Delinnium Falcon? It's the ship that made the Kessel Run in less than 12 parsecs...

I'm a commercial service plumber in Calgary, and deal with many resteraunts that are still paying people to come and take their oil away. If someone is willing to commit to a scheduled removal, and stick with it, I can set you up with the owners.

The person that was producing bio diesel is now at a different job and not doing the bio diesel. If anyone around Calgary has a lead on good quality and good priced bio diesel let us know.
