WVO Information

Post by vanman »

Can anyone tell me if these vans have rotary or inline injector pumps?
What are you getting for kilometrage with these vans?
How about running temps?
Internal or inline lift pumps?

I don't have a van yet, but I am looking into these vans as an option. I've been running wvo in various vehicles for about 4.5 years now, but I want to get back to my mini-van roots.

Also, if you are looking to unload yours, let me know; though I am only interested in 5spds.

Thanks,
Conor

Hello Conor, the Delica's have rotary pumps with notorious leaky seals with the advent of low sulfur diesel. Mileage runs from 29 to 24 mpg, don't know 'kilometrage' :). Don't exactly know running temps, but when I moved a magnetic temp gauge from my WVO filter to heat exchanger nothing ever went over ~96c. There are no lift pumps, just the injector pump.

Good luck with finding a good 5 speed, they are out there, just few and far between.

Cheers,
Kev
