DRL's *has anyone ever used LED's?*

Post by quided »

Hello everyone, I recently imported a 97 L400 V6 gas engine and am getting it ready for inspection. The next thing on my list is Day Time Running Lights (DRLS) I know about the modules you can get at canadian tire for 50 bucks but a friend of mine whom also has a deli has this installed in his and everytime he turns his key to ACC his headlights turn on and drain his battery. I know LED's draw less power and i also think they look really sick 8-)

Im curious if anyone uses LED's for their only source of DRL's on their delica or other vehicles and if it would pass a safety inspection with them on. I know that theres alot of junk LED's out there but I've been looking online and found these:

PHILLIPS DAYLIGHT 4:

If any one knows if these are legal or not in SASK or CANADA please get back to me!

Ps. This is my first post on here super excited to be part of the club.
