The Birch & Grey has a new home
My daughter and I flew out to Edmonton a couple of weeks ago and bought the Birch & Grey mobile, 1991 L300, manual 5spd. (Birch & Grey is a custom furniture company and this was their signature delivery car). We drove back over 5 long days to Wakefield Qc, just north of Ottawa. Along the way we christened him "Wilson" after the volley ball in "Castaway", as we are castaways on the highways and byways of the nation, Wilson is our faithful buddy. viewtopic.php?f=9&t=11456&start=780
For a look at our first week home together check out "What did you do TO your Delica today" My dad used to say,"If you can read, you can do anything!"

Good Catch ! We may now be about 10 L300 owners in Qc That long ride is a good test as for mechanical reliability :) Did you lost a bumper panel on the way back ? Are there tires 31 inches ?

Bumper panels were in the back. I've since reinstalled them. Tires are 235/75R15's. "Too big, monsieur", says SAAQ Inspecter. Got a smaller set of 215/70R15's for the safety, then I'll put the big one's back on...
