Well done Jason! Well done Dad!

That poor L400 in the background is gonna feel pretty neglected now! But you'll see, that Safari is gonna stamp a huge smile on your face, enjoy!

Cheers,
Mr. D

No worry about part and maintenance.
someone said in this forum like this "The running cost of a Safari is dirt cheap. oil changes every 5k, injectors every few years, brakes whenever you needs them. That's it. The L400 requires much more dollars on an initial and ongoing basis to keep it in the same mechanical condition."

I asked nissan dealer about safari parts with reply" all parts( over 12,000 for safari, not over 2,000 ) are in Japan facility, part order can go to east Canada, going to Japan regularly, probably Japan warehouse send them in 2-3 months, coming to East canada warehouse and finally to Vancouver area. You need to wait at least 3-4 month."

Are we in the delica forum or safari forum?
Very confusing!!! :o

Steven do not tell me what to do...First off you mechanical advice is generally wrong (hence the customers with ECU problems after you sell them the wrong glow plugs or that fact that you were trying to SELL USED TIMMING BELT TENSIONERS :o :o (which you pulled that add after I took the time to privately email you about the unethicalness and dangers of selling such products.

You also sold a L400 that was rusted out then somehow OK'd the work to fix it with again not doing a full chassis inspection (which I wounder how you can be selling vehicles in the first place...I thought dealers were better??? You should have bought that and parted it out (you would have still broken even and then limited your reputation destruction to just your idiotic posts and attacks on members...

Next you are wrecking a thread about someone who just got a new vehicle and destroying your own reputation to do it?? You talking to a Nissan dealer about parts does not make you an authority on parts. I talked to LORDCO billions of times and hardly ever get the same answer.

You are destroying this site, Craigslist, Delica Trader etc.... and clearly you have no ethics

Hey Jayeson.

I bought a pair of 24V Nissan relays and motors for my Safari power windows. They had it in stock at Nissan Langley.

David's drive-side window mechanism (scissor-lift) was broken. Nissan dealer had it in stock.

Nissan parts is global. There is a false misconception that you need to wait months to get parts for a Nissan JDM vehicle.

Nissan America's (Central/South America) is supplied through Nissan USA which is tied to Nissan Canada. This is why you can buy many local Nissan JDM parts.

Enjoy the ride brother (can't wait to start modding it) and kick the parts-fear-mongering in the tail pipe !
