The Water Cooler

Post by The Pinkfingers »

How about a sub category of Water Cooler talk. One "sub-sub" category I'd like to see is outdoor recreation, where we can talk about outdoor rec things that don't necessarily involve the delica, but would be of interest to many users of this forum, and they'd certainly use their delica to get to the location :-D (camping, GPS, geocaching, etc). Any other suggestions as to sub-sub categories? Traveling (especially overseas)? "Everything else" category?

Just a thought...

This forum is also great as it is.

Good suggestion -- lets give this a try.

To keep things tidy, it may be useful to move certain other forums into the "Water Cooler" section (e.g., the Was It You category)... Any thoughts?

Related thought I had is to (i) collapse the Club Meetings and Events into a subcategory of General Discussion; and (ii) at the same time move it up the list. It seems to me that these are a relatively active discussion forum, but that some areas are showing very few posts - yet... Any thoughts on this one either?

I say leave the Club Meetings and Events section as it is - it is sufficiently large enough of a topic to merit its own standing on the index.

Also, the relative activity in each subsection is merely indicative of the concentration of Delicas and involvement of members in that area. Obviously, there is a large number of the vehicles on the Lower Mainland, therefore greater activity. Not so many vans out east, so not sure too many of them are going to get together all that often.

Maybe, everything east of Alberta could be in a ROC subsection (rest of Canada), but that's just my nickel's worth.
