New forum for L400?
Hi,
Have you tried to find info for the L300 on the UK site vs. the Aussi site? Go take a look and you'll see how much easier it is on the UK site. Reason is that they have L300 technical forum as well as L400 technical forum (or whatever other forum ie. mods, faq, tech, parts...)
If we wait too long to get this going it will be very difficult down the road to find specific answers. Like I said, visit the Aussi site and you'll know what I mean.
Does it make sense?
Thanks,
David

Agree. Russians did the same: delicaclub.ru has 2 different sections, L300 and L400.

Ya, I know it's a no brainer but when I was in Australia I suggested the same and although quite a few thought it was a good idea it didn't get done 'cause they waited too long. It would have been too difficult to track back all the previous posts to make it work...

Yeah, good idea for sure. I wonder how long it will take for the L-400's to eclipse our trusty L-300's like they have on the UK fourm Ahh well...
Happy Day!

Re: New forum for L400?
With 1994 having been the first L400 model year, it sounds like we're now at a "turning point" in the life of Delica.ca!
Just on implementation, my initial thought on this is to rename the current forum "Technical and Troubleshooting" to "L300 Technical", and to create a brand new forum below it entitled "L400 Technical"
Any other thoughts on implementation?

Re: New forum for L400?
Mark,
While you're at it, may I suggest that it might be nice to have a forum for past trips and events?
In another forum I use, there is a planning forum, then once an outing is in full swing, or has passed, a new thread is created in the past forum. This means it's easier for anyone to go in and peruse pics without having to sift through lots of pretrip posts, and also promotes sharing of thoughts and photos following an event.
A lot of the guys have been putting up amazing pics from their outings, but sometimes a different viewer might only be able to see them if they think to check out the thread.
Just a thought!

Re: New forum for L400?
Just thinking that we may want to start with 1 forum for L400 initially (and then perhaps apply the split between "L400 tech" versus "L400 mods" later down the road once the forum builds up a few posts)...

Re: New forum for L400?
I can start posting in both tech and mods since the whole driveline is based on the Montero that I've been modding :)mark wrote:Just thinking that we may want to start with 1 forum for L400 initially (and then perhaps apply the split between "L400 tech" versus "L400 mods" later down the road once the forum builds up a few posts)...
