I'm in if it's close by. 10hrs of asphalt driving is not on my to do list.

I saw a bunch of Jeep geeks this weekend out by the Whipsaw with "Herd of Turtles" stickers on their windshields. Perhaps we should have "Herd of Cats" stickers made.
Okay well guys if you want to camp near town just up the Sea to Sky, as you know I've got a collection of spots in that area. One in particular near Britannia Beach FSR would be a fine choice for a Delica camping meet as it has a large clearing suitable for car camping, and some fine soul has built a deck on the side of the mountain within a hundred feet or so from the clearing. It is also quite close to the "Delica Proving Grounds" area if you want to play.
As for the Okanagan, that also sounds like a fine idea, particularly if we can get to some decent trails.
All that said, we had planned to go and show our support for the Coombs event and meet some island peeps.

Well, all this might have been for nothing. I just got a heads up minutes ago that my work is waiting for me, including the weekend...
I'm still dying to get out wheeling and camping but will have to change the dates, maybe the next weekend? Would it still work with everyone?

Who cares about work if we can have a great weekend together instead?
The weekend after should work too.

Boo x3 for my work who doesn't really give me the option to say no this time. Plus, they are lurring me with a big fat cheque (with car parts written all over!) Hopefully they'll get their act together and won't change the dates on me... I need my fix!

Sounds like my work too. We're in a "blackout" for vacations and every week I don't know until Thursday if I'm working that weekend or not.delicat wrote:Well, all this might have been for nothing. I just got a heads up minutes ago that my work is waiting for me, including the weekend...
The 13-15th didn't work for me as I've got 2 weddings that weekend to attend. If it's the 20-22nd I'd be interested in at least a day trip to meet with the group even if I can't stay for camping the whole weekend. I've barely even been on gravel roads so far.
