JDM & Mitsu Meet. Sat 16 Oct, IKEA Coquitlam 9:15-10:15am.

Post by TardisDeli »

Hello all Mitsu's and F.O.M (Friends of Mitsubishi's),

Ages since we've met up, how about a quickie?

Breakfast for $1 at IKEA, buy 2 for full tummy happiness, on sale from 9am to 11am. Your kids and spouse go shopping, you take yr paper plate of Breakfast out to yr beloved vehicle (Bring your own cutlery from home).

WHY? Al "Almac" from Kelowna is staying for the weekend, at the TardisDeli Motel. Put faces to online names.

WHEN? We'll be there beside our delicii from 9:15 to 10:15, then going to Princess Auto (across the train tracks and construction). Then continue shopping and cheap eats, at the KMS Tools annual woodworking show, with Smokies and HotDogs, for lunch. Wow, we surely do plan exciting times for you.

WHERE? IKEA Coquitlam, south east corner of parking lot (nearest to HomeSense or whatever its called these day). Can enter IKEA from Lougheed, the north east side of building. Yes, it's fine for overheight vehicles. Note: cannot enter IKEA from the south, ie from Princess Auto, the road construction detour turns you east along to Lougheed Hwy by Cdn Tire, then you turn left into Lougheed, go just past IKEA and turn left at the intersection immediately past IKEA (By KMS Tools).

TECH TALK? Cold Start problems now the weather is cooler? We'll bring Jay's battery load tester, and multi-meter to help troubleshoot if yr glow plugs or battery are sad.

See you soon. Christine and Jay and Al.

Post by TardisDeli »

TECH TALK AND Mitsu Meet ... everyone welcome, all Mitsu's and F.O.M (Friends of Mitsubishi's), especially welcome are Mitsu Pajero who we lovingly encourage to join us as we share the same engines....

Cold Start problems now the weather is cooler? We'll bring Jay's battery load tester, and multi-meter to help you troubleshoot if yr glow plugs or battery are sad.

We havent had a Mitsu Meet for ages, let's have a quickie, meet and chit chat, with the bonus of shared troubleshooting by each other for problem cold morning starts now that autumn has arrived.

WHEN? 9:15 to 10:15am, Tomorrow, Saturday 16 Oct 2010, Ikea Coquitlam. We'll be there beside our L300 Delica's from 9:15 to 10:15. (After the meet I'm going to Princess Auto -- across the train tracks and construction. Then to continue shopping and cheap eats, at the KMS Tools annual woodworking show, with Smokies for lunch). Wow, we surely do plan exciting times for you.

FOOD? Breakfast for $1 at IKEA, buy 2 for full tummy happiness, on sale from 9am to 11am. Your kids and spouse go shopping, you take yr paper plate of Breakfast out to yr beloved vehicle (Bring your own cutlery from home). Or get yr coffee & warm cinnamon bun (yumm, ask for extra icing) from the Ikea Bistro.

WHY? Al "Almac" from Kelowna is staying for the weekend, at the TardisDeli Motel. Put faces to online names.

WHERE? IKEA Coquitlam, south east corner of parking lot (nearest to HomeSense or whatever its called these day). Can enter IKEA from Lougheed, the north east side of building.

See you soon. Christine and Jay and Al.

Excellent morning this morning.

Almac was down from K-Town showing us a few surprises that he is working on that will be really cool once he puts the finishing touches to them. (film at 11)

Super Duper Exceeded took up 2 parking spaces with his awesome piece of body/mechanical handywork.....I swear he's running a 50/50 mix of diesel and Extenze.

I think Jay was there as I rolled in with Lazybrownfart. Hard to tell with his camo jammies get up. He blends in so well with his surroundings. Christine passed on the name tags as she could remember everyones name that was there.

Falco Callhimfabulous showed up to admire the handywork as well.

For those of you that stayed in bed watching Saturday morning cartoons....... tsk tsk.

Until next time...................

Hi LeeHammy, would have been great to see you. Sorry, I only heard a few hours before that Almac Al was coming to town. Please do feel free to organize one soon, pick a time and place convenient to you (that's the benefit of organizing it, you can arrange to do it while spouse is inside doing the grocery shopping etc). Cheers, Christine.

I was in Yo Gabba Gabba land with my 2 year old. I would have liked to have been there. The stretch Deli would be cool to see.
