If you need other ideas this site ( http://www.campingrvbc.com/camping/ )has all the former Forestry Sites on it plus any other type you may want to look at.

Maybe add this site to your possible list. Trialsmaster 2 could even take his tent trailer here!

Almac - I guess I forgot to tell you the lake is Bluey Lake SW of Kentucky - Alleyne PP just off the connector. This rec site has room for quite a few units @ one site if necessary. With our typical 4 max for a turnout that should not be a problem!

The Okanagan Deli's should just come down to Penticton on teh day of the Peach City Beach Cruise (June 22 (parade day), 23 (show&shine day), 24th). We can have a mini parade after all the 70's Muscle or just park in a group and look tough like MF'n Gangstas!

Peach City Beach Cruise 2012 Info [Worst website I have seen in years...but its got teh schedule of events etc.]

Hey Al,
I am most likley game for July long weekend!
Hopefully there wont be a fire ban on by then...camping is just not the same without a campfire!Thats the one thing that annoys me about the OK..fire Bans..maybe two things..forest fires suck too!!
Do you have a spot in mind?
Cheers!

Good start Almac. I'm tied up that weekend but hopefully lots of other guys can come. Maybe start a new topic as New Years is over!

Reading through this thread is funny. You lot are the most indecisive bunch I have ever seen. I mean no disrespect by that comment its just funny to read through. If you lovely interior people could open a new topic, set a date and location, don't leave it up for debate but actually just dictate the events location and time a month or so from now so people can make their schedules work then others from the lower mainland might come. Its a bit of a deterrent seeing the back and fourth with locations dates, "I can't make it that night Dexter is on" etc... Just a thought as I would like to make a trip up and this would be a good excuse.

I think given the small number of us in the Okanagan is will always be tricky getting a meet of significant numbers. There are only like 5 people active in talking about an Okanagan Meet compared to like 100 in GVA (of which 12 show up)...so prettty much around here if there are 2 Delicas in the same spot at the same time you call that a meet and celebrate. :-D

That makes sense... So take my comment with a grain of salt with all things considered. However if you lot do decide to do one I hope I can make it to bring the numbers up. I grew up in Clearwater (north of Kamloops) so I have always wanted to take in a meet on my way through for a visit home. Cheers all.
