Hey gang,
I've been searching and scouring the forums for information, and while there's lots of info to find, I couldn't quite consolidate what I needed and was wondering if I could pick your collective brains.
I just brought across a 92 L300 Exceed with a 2" lift back in October. My current shocks (Rancho 9000's) need to be replaced, no question about it. I believe I've settled on Pro Comp 9000's for the front & Pro Comp 3000's for the rear. I'm open to this being picked apart so feel free to question my decision.
Ultimately, what I really need though are the darn part #s for the front & rears. My eyes are crossed after referencing what seems like hundreds of posts on the topic.
Any takers? (thanks in advance...)

Re: Pro Comp shocks part #s
I have the 9000's all around. What's the reason for 3000's in the back? Not bouncy enough?
Jfarsang sold them with his 2" lift kit so my money's on him being the first with part #'s

Can not speak for the 3000 series.
However the 9000 series is: Front 913515 / Rear 919520
Hope this helps.

Damn you are fast.
I was about to say that those part numbers were for a "non-lifted" rig.
Must be the time difference

If going off road and weighted in the back then go 9000 all round or MX-6. Steer clear of 3000 and 6000.

Re: Pro Comp shocks part #s
im buying these shockies
ES9000 Series Shock Absorber - 913515
and ES9000 Series Shock Absorber by Pro Comp - 919520
the pictures from this site im buying from http://www.4wheelparts.com/ show the shockies to have round connection at the top and bottom of the shock, but i know from just looking at my L300 front shocks that i need a round connection on one side of the shocky and a pointy connection on the other side...
as you probably have noticed im a freakin newb when it comes my van, but im learning slowly.. any help would be greatly appreciated as i would love to get this order finalised.. thankyou

Re: Pro Comp shocks part #s
Howdy folks
Its been a while. I too am in the market for some shocks to tighten things up a bit. Finding my current gear is getting kinda sloppy/bouncy. Have a 92 L300 no lift, torsion bars leveled at max.
Is the 9000 series the one to get these days?
And to double check the numbers from White mule
Front 913515 / Rear 919520 fro non Lifted
and i presume 5/8" hourglass Polyeurethane bushings : PV2028
are standard Correct?
Swapping out the shocks a tough job needing anything special/Tricks.
Was thinking of making it this weekend project.
Cheers
