Ever seen anything like this before? I've just purchased a new (bare) head and spent the day grinding valves installing seals, and swapping the bits over. the last thing to install was the injectors when I noticed this funny defect. At the bottom of the bore where the nozzle seats on it's copper crush washer... is a void in the casting! It's like a hole in swiss cheese was uncovered by the machinist whilst boring out the injector seat.

If you zoom in you can see it better probably. It's about 3/64ths deep my my guess.
What to do? Ship it back to my supplier?

Re: defective injector seat in head.
In my opinion it Looks like casting porosity during manufacturing to me.
Typically not an issue except thats a sealing surface.
