Hey guys just wondering if anyone knows a good shop in Victoria to take delicas. Im having an issue with my glow system and im running into brink walls everywhere with it. Have a trip planned in a couple weeks and starting to worry. I know CCA is great but that's a hefty tow bill.

Take a look through the "Dealer Feedback, Beefs, and Bouquets" forum, under PURCHASING & IMPORTING on the board index. It's a wealth of knowledge regarding shops and dealers, based on member experiences. Finding a reliable mechanic can be a daunting exercise and you need to read through the words of the poster as you will discover that some people will praise what others have slagged. Still ~ a useful tool.
One thing to remember, I have found, is that these wagons are very simple, especially compared to newer vehicles. If you find a shop and they start going on about how unique and strange these vehicles are then either they know not what they are doing or they're prejudiced against them. Parts are pretty easy to get as they are used in many other vehicles, i.e.; the rear axle seal & bearing groups for your Starwagon are the same for the Dodge Raider. Then there is the internet for finding and ordering parts, like Amayama or PartSouq. By the way, CC Autos will ship parts. Seek and thee shall find.

Yeah I’ve been doing tons of reading and tracing what I can find. IT is a pretty simple system but it’s gotten to the point where I’ve tried everything I can do as far as I can see and I’m looking to get it fixed for 2 weeks from now. Thanks for the info for sure though I’m definitely learning a lot

Ended up going to Lyall street. When I got the first call from the desk about possible issues and work I could hear the mechanic in the back and he didn't seem too excited about having to work on the Delica, due to some aftermarket alarm that had been put in years before. Apparently it was wired in to all kinds of weird parts of the electrical system. They prepared me for the worst as there was an apparent electrical issue and those can go on forever without getting anywhere really. They went ahead and pulled the alarm out and solved my issue. They prepared me for the worst and within 1.5 hours I had a call saying it was good to go. The mechanic even came out to discuss some other things that were the precursor to the issue I had. Overall everyone there was great. Ill be going back for sure. Highly recommended.
