Side lights/Signal Lights

Does your Mitsubishi L300 make a strange noise? Need wheel alignment specs?

Side lights/Signal Lights

Post by coach »

Question???

The light underneath the front signal light (in the same side light case), when is that light supposed to be on?

I was just doing headlight replacement and noticed that that light (at least on mine) only comes on when the signal light is flashing, although the white light below the signal light does not flash. I've seen some photos of other Delicas at night and with day runnning lights and that light never seemed to be on.

Is this some strage Japanese thing or is my van just being unique?

Thanks,

yours works properly. that is a cornering light, it comes on with the signal light to light up the direction you're trying to turn. it's not much use in the city, but at slow speeds in truly dark rural areas it's a god-send.

If you run a wire from your white marker light (green white stripe) and cut the yellow and red(green on other side)> replace the bulb for a orange 50 W you end you with fully good to go daytime running light if you wire them up to a 12v relay. Or if you just do the first part then you have really nice and bight marker lights.
