Hello Delica Peeps,
Can anyone shed some light on where the kick down adjustment is on the L300 Delica and what the specs might be for this? Apparently it's located on the injector pump which I had rebuilt a few years ago. I'm not sure if I'm having a problem with my van, but when I'm driving on the highway and I come up to even a small hill, the transmission goes into kick down mode immediately, and what I feel is prematurely. Maybe this is normal...?
Obviously with this post the cats outta the bag that I'm mechanically declined at the best of times. The van has been great so far, and I'd like to keep it that way by not abusing it and running it too hard. Any insight is greatly appreciated.
Thanks, Phil

Yes on the IP. Just be careful not to adjust so much that it lugs and sends your EGT's up.
