what's up with my clock?
ok so i used the serch engine and found nothing.
i cant figure out why my clock won't set. i changed the time for the time change in the spring, and it hasnt been right since.
it gets power all the time, and i havent disconnected my batteries since i bought my deli.
funny how i can reformat a windows Hard drive without issues, but can't even set an LED clock properly... lol.
am i missing something?

Re: what's up with my clock?
you might have to expand on the symptoms a bit, my computer is broken doesn't work very well, "i changed the time for the time change in the spring, and it hasnt been right since" hasn't been right in what way? it's always reading the same time, it's randomly reseting, it's steadily getting slower or faster?almac wrote:ok so i used the serch engine and found nothing.

As the general consensus appears to be that I do not know what I'm talking about, and cause more harm than good, I am removing this post so that others are not tricked in to following my ill-advised instructions.

Sorry I can't resist a punchline sometimes.
If your clock does end up being crap-ola
Pm me.I will be up at CCautos this week
And I can grab you one,and yes
I will have time. (rimshot )
Right ON!

Re: what's up with my clock?
Although you've not elaborated on what is 'wrong' with your clock, if it's continuing to reset there's either a problem with the power or a problem with the buttons.
Have you changed the stereo in your van? Sometimes wiring the wrong power to the power line can change how the stereo works (and the clock and the horn). The clock, the stereo and the horn all come from a non-ignition-switched power supply and if you've swapped this around with the ignition-switched power line it might be messing with it. Does your horn still work when the vehicle is switched off?
Second: the problem might be a sticky button on the clock. If a sugary liquid has been slopped on the dash (recently), the buttons may be sticking, thereby changing the time on you. The button may be just slightly depressed enough to make contact and change the settings.
Please clarify what you mean by "clock won't set" for further fault-finding assistance.

so, it sets fine, but it simply never registers the passage of time?almac wrote:i set the clock via the "H" and "M" buttons, and two hours later, its' the same time i set it at.mararmeisto wrote:Please clarify what you mean by "clock won't set" for further fault-finding assistance.
check to make sure the buttons aren't stuck, but I suspect that your clock is dead, likely whatever circuitry it uses to create a clock signal (a crystal perhaps?, or another timer circuit?) is broken in some way.

He said "clock", with an "l", not "c..."jwfchase wrote:Luna-Sea wrote:http://www.medicinenet.com/penis_disorders/article.htm

Re: what's up with my clock?
the gerbil that makes the clock go obviously died.... and I think those are tough to get from japan.
Re: what's up with my clock?
1) Set the clock.i set the clock via the "H" and "M" buttons, and two hours later, its' the same time i set it at.
2) Make sure your flux capacitor is on.
3) Achieve 88 MPH.
4) (you have jumped back to the future)
5) See step 1.
