WIPER/INDICATOR SWITCH, STEERING COLUMN Assembly (MB953289)

Post by ykphil »

My turn signal lever is broken and the right side flasher keeps flashing, tried to fix it with rubber compound and glue, to no avail. The stalk stays in and clicks up and down, but the flasher does not stop. I have been unable to find the replacement parts from the usual sellers: Amayama, Megazip, Rising Sun, Japanoid, Coombs, etc. The parts number is MB9532890, Combo switch assembly for a 1995 Delica 2.8 4M40, no airbag, VIN PD8W001XXX

I'm in Mexico where a continuous flashing light on one side, the steering wheel on the wrong side, an NWT polar bear license plate and no front plate, and a van that is not at all inconspicuous, are another sure way to attract attention of our transit cops...I have a place to ship in Calgary if needed.
This is the part here: https://www.amayama.com/en/part/mitsubishi/mb953289

This is the closest thing I could find.

I wonder if the other style(separate) switch would work. The connectors look similar but it wouldn't bolt up with some haywire and duct tape you might be able to rig it up enough to get you around easier.
