Alternator
I have a 94 deli(diesel) and the alternator has started to produce super high voltage on the gauge. Like the needle is up hard on on 16 plus. Before I go and change out a new alternator is there anything else I can check? Thanks guys.

Re: Alternator
Have you tested with a multi meter?
My has started reading low, and I have gotten around to replacing it. Overcharging can kill your battery.
Most auto parts store will test it for free if you bring it in. Some are able to test in vehicle.
I would rule that out first before a a new alternator.
