Mitsubishi Delica L400 production commenced in 1994 -- After much anticipation, the L400 arrived on Canadian Soil in 2009!

trying to identify a delica by vin

Post by Jimbobtx3 »

Hi folks,

I'm looking to buy a Delica. Owner told me its a royal exceed but I think it may only be a super. Vehicle is far away and want to check before I fly to see it. I tried the jdm online databade but it says no exact chassis found.

VIN is 6U9000PF8W0000840

What are my options? Thanks

What makes you doubt the trim level? First starting points would be the badge on the door pillar and it being a LWB. Is there something about it that doesn't seem right?
With a bit more information, this might be of use:

6U9000 is the oz compliance code for vin and wont show on JDM databases. you need the the alphabet letters to determine which model unless you can access CAPS then PF8W0000840 can be used the oz site might be a better place to ask
