Hello!
I recently got a Delica L400 super exceed and I'm wondering what should be the first things to check/replace and what should I do to winterize it?
After buying it I took it to a shop and got the timing belts changed, oil changed and had an inspection done on it. When driving it home I noticed that when the outside temperature dropped below 0 it really struggled to keep up the inside temp. Is this normal deli things, or does something need cleaning or replacing?
I have also had issues with the side sliding door not fully closing (and draining the battery several times already) and the windows thinking they were jammed and refusing to go up all the way. The windows and doors were fine when I got it in Vancouver and when the temperatures were above 0, but now that I've got it home and it's in -20 they seem to have issues. Is this just as simple as replacing grease with a better low temperature grease?

Gas or diesel? My 2002 is a gas v6 and it took forever to put out heat. A new thermostat seemed to help a lot.

My sliding door has a self close mechanism where you just lightly close the door on the first catch and it'll close itself the rest of the way. I don't know if every year is the same or just the later models? If the door isnt' closing all the way you'll probably have the door open indicator on the cluster light up. The switch for that is on the back lower side of the door opening iirc.

I used my power window when it was cold once and it did the same thing. I just don't use them when it's cold. Cleaning and regreasing the window regulators would probably help with that.

Its a gas v6. After cleaning the heater core it puts out plenty of heat!. Previous owner put a ton of grease in the door slider causing it to be a hard goop in the cold. I removed the grease and it works like a dream. Power window was also just gunked up with crud. I cleaned it out and gave it a helping of silicone grease and it's also good.
