Especially good for those of us living in Ontario. I hope the rates will be competitive with what I'm already paying.

Also, I checked out the rhdclub, while I appreciate the effort and I know discounts are offered, do you really think people will pay for a forum when there are so many free ones? I can't see that taking off when the market here is small. Maybe if it was a 'Premium' option instead of a registration option.

Thanks for the support Matt. With regards to the membership fee, it is not for the forums at all. That was just an added bonus to the site build. The main reason for the membership fee will be covered in the very near future.

The vendor discounts is also a bit of an added bonus. We are talking to many vendors at the moment who will be coming on board in the next 3-6 months, all of which will be offering member discounts.

Well then, I stand corrected! :-D

The insurance is based around club insurance rates (same type of thing that many clubs do - Ferrari Club of America for example). This is the primary reason why RHD Club was born. There model was followed during creation.

We got lots of responses which is great. Only two days left until our deadline for the survey so if you haven't responded please do so. It will only take a minute.

Not sure how household income has anything to do with the purpose of the survey...a demographic item I guess?

Done either way. Watching with curiousity..... :?

I'm eagerly awaiting any more news on this. I've been given the royal run-around from State Farm.

Right now I'm paying "B" class rates on both my motorcycles and my Pajero even though I have no tickets and no claims. As far as they're concerned my record should have me on the cheaper end of their "A" class rate, but their policy is that RHDs automatically get put into the "B" class category, and since the motorcycles are "leisure use" vehicles they have to be lumped in with whatever class the daily use vehicle is.

I've argued with them till I was blue in the mouth, after all it's not like I can drive my Paj and ride my motorcycle at the same time, but to no avail. So for now I'm just going to keep my nose clean and stay out of trouble while I wait for this to play out and see if it's worth hanging onto RHDs.
