Re: Camping Recommendations - 2015 Season
Well this place is a bit further, but easily accessible from Vancouver on a long weekend.
I really enjoyed this place because it was literally a 2 min walk from our campsite to the beach where we enjoyed the sunset and a beer
It's just north of Newport, OR where Rogue Beer has a huge brewery so it makes a nice stop for lunch/dinner as well to sample some brews.
Sunset as the rain clouds moved in
Oregon Coast - Beverly Beach State Park
Driving Difficulty = 1 ---> take i-5 as far as you feel then cut west to the Oregon coast and enjoy the scenery!!
Approximate Travel Time = 6-7 Hrs depending on where you live in GVR
Approximate number of campsites = Many many: http://www.oregonstateparks.org/index.c ... parkId=164
