Oh! I know this one....... Is this just east of Highway Number Five A, north of Princeton just before it hooks up with the 97? A buddy of mine who's an angler told me about it, if only I could remember the name... I thought it was glacier fed because it's so blue... Right, I remember ~ It's Bluey (spelling?) Lake? In the picture, are you looking south?

Falco.

P.S.: I see you've posted a map with it on.

Falco, you are correct, and I know because Google image search matched this lake with Larry's post on the Angler's Atlas website which I frequently visit.

Fodder for fellow fly tiers, the Slim Picking's a Sheridan Lake favorite, a productive fly that takes seconds to tie with only pheasant tail and thread.

Well it's nice to see the name reveled. Bluey and Kentucky-Alleyene lakes are so clear and blue you would think you're in the south Pacific. I must add Falco that you did know it before the last clue. We look forward to your Rec Site selection with appropriate clues so we can guess where it is. thanks for the effort.

Okay, here's a pretty place:

Name that lake. First clue ~ It's bigger than a bread box and it's in BC.

If Knibby didn't guess the Rec Site the rest of us may need a little more info as per item 1.

1.A picture of the location will be posted ( hopefully including your Delica) c/w the WMU number to give everyone a clue. The picture should be taken in a fashion that anyone who has been to the site would be sure to know which site it is.

Nice picture Falco.

My apologies for being so intermittent, been moving house. It's amazing how much crap one can accumulate over sixteen years! Lucky for me I have friends like Christine and DeliCat to help out!

Okay, Irp is right, it's not Kinbasket. Would like to check Kinbasket out, looks like a nice place.
So here's the next clue: The bears crap in the middle of the road and they're grizzlies (not even mentioning the meese). Is that too criptic? It's north of George and a long way from asphalt.

This makes it more interesting Falco. I didn't realize there are so many big lakes in that area. Anyway, my first guess is Whitefish Bay Rec Site on Stuart Lake. -- did you stop @ Fort St. James while in the area?

Go back and look @ page 1. The winner gets to select a new Rec Site that they have been to or want to go to. If you don't have any pictures available let us know and we will pick a new site. Thanks for participating.

Well, now you have the coordinates to a really beautiful lake in an area that is great for fishing or hunting, not to mention the historic value of the area dating back to the gold rush. Those women in the last picture posted are not actresses, they are the real thing ~ they live that way. There are still sluice boxes being used up there. There are modern things up there but many lifestyles haven't changed. It's extraordinary what you might find up there.
