Re: Cool
I'm not sure if this will work, may need to register on the site for it to work, but this site is for making expedition vehicles and they have a Mitsubishi Discussion forum:

Re: Cool
Aren't there sweet set-ups on that site!? The first post there is pretty rocking - http://www.expeditionportal.com/forum/s ... php?t=9299 and lower in the list is a Delica owner with a Canter planning a expedition camper. There's a 70 something 17' Boler available here cheap (needs work but the glass is perfect) that would be great dropped on the back of a JDM 4x4 Canter. Eg.

Re: Cool
Even better, do this with the Canter as many are available with flat beds!

Re: Cool
I've alway thought that a Canter/Fuso 4wd would make the ultimate vehicle. With a dump box, 6 cylinder Turbo D, and a 3-5 ton chassis would give good loading capacity, fuel economy better that any pickup (probably similar to a Delica), good towing capacity (look at all the Hino tow trucks). With lockers, big wheels (like on the Unimog's) you could go most anywhere, strap a camper on the back (or trailer as shown) and tow the boat. The dump box would be great for gathering firewood, moving dirt (gardeners), getting more cars (wrecks), and so on. Better yet, get one of the crane versions and it is much easier to take the accommodations on and off, as well as lifting those monster spares into place.
