Re: Turbo? Help!!!
if there is enough meat left on the radiator plastic, just drill it a tiny bit bigger and tap it and thread in a brass fitting with a nipple on it for the hose. if you are drilling and tapping do a bit at a time and pull the drill out to clean out the plastic bits and prevent too much from falling into the rad.

Re: Turbo? Help!!!
measure the hole that you can tap for, take the broken nipple and just go to lordco and see what they can match. they should have a few bins of brass fittings with push on nipples for adapting different size hoses.
the fitting will have a pipe thread on one end and a nipple on the other. a million different sizes available.
edit:
you will need a pipe thread tap, make sure you dont use a bolt thread metric or sae tap for a pipe thread fitting or it will not seal properly. also make sure you dont thread the tap all the way in the first time as the fitting may not bite properly into the new threads if they are too wide since its a taper thread.

Re: Turbo? Help!!!
I did the same thing:
http://www.delica.ca/forum/what-did-you ... tml#p98664
The nipple is one I had kicking around in my toolbox. Originally from Canadian Tire. Happened to have the pipe tap too. There's lots of meat there to drill it out.
My experience is: Make sure everything is cleaned and degreased. Scuff the rad tank too (w/sandpaper).
Screw the nipple in until it is tight, then JB weld liberally over everything. Don't bother with the teflon tape. It won't seal. I actually had a pinhole after the first go-round, so I re-scuffed and re-applied. Basically JB-weld covers the flats of the nipple, and up over the cylinder on the rad tank. It's been fine since that post.

just think of the amount of "Dude beer" you could have bought for the six dudes, if you had just replaced the nipple.
