Hey
Has anyone tried to change out the pump for the windshield washer sprayer?
Any luck on new pump or is there any other reason that mine is no longer working?
It was fine a few weeks ago and now it is not working. Any ideas?
Thank you
Windshiled sprayer pump, front window, not working.

Hi, Check if the pump is plug up or any hose line that is bent, now also check the front windshield nozzle if plug, try to clean it with needle & then your fine. i guess, or maybe its freeze up, depend on which location you were.
pump usually dont broke easily

Hey,
Thank you Mardy,
I don't think it's frozen or plugged as the pump is not longer "working". The van is in Vancouver and its been warm here. It simply does not make any noise that would indicate that it is actually even trying.
Any one?

Unplug the pump connector and put a test light across the wire terminals. Then activate the pump switch. If the light glows, the wiring is ok and the pump is dead. If nothing lights up, put 1 side of the test light to body ground and touch the other side to the + wire on the pump connector and activate the pump again. If you have no power then check the fuses and post back here.

O.k., i see so you think its not plug up, now what you do check if there is any washer fluid on it, take it out , its located under the dash pass side, pull it towards you & check if any fluid there Or check the line if the line is bent. now used a pressurized air hose & plug it towards the nozzle, then let someone to help you if they see any bubble coming out from the bottle, if there is then you fix it, its plug, if not either the wiring is lose or the pump motor is gone. usually just plug up , bent tube or lose wire thru the washer motor.
