big trucks have heat shields...you will need one

Also consider a stack that exits just aft of the cab will turn the whole roof black from diesel smoke, ever seen a semi trailers roof?

That is exactly what I was picturing in my head! I'm thinking there's not enough room for that as well as the snorkel and my block heater plug so I may try this for the snorkel and leave mine straight piped out the side.
