My name's Dan, I'm from St. Catharines. In August I picked up a 1994 LWB V46 2800 with 5spd manual. I've been into the import stuff for a while now, my first being a 1990 Celica GT-4 that I picked up in '08. The tranny started to go on that one so I imported a 1994 GT-4 in '09, and then this spring I decided to get into motorcycles so I got rid of the sports car and hopped into something a little more practical. I started riding a 2001 Suzuki SV650S, but upgraded to a 2001 TL1000R in September.
As for me, I'm 22, a licensed mechanic for a year and a half, been working at the same independant shop for about 6 and a half years now. I'm big into any kind of motorsports particularly Formula 1 and World Superbikes.
I've done a bit of work to the Paj since I got it. Usual suspension stuff starting show it's age mostly, but a month ago I started noticing drips from the injection pump. The front seal had been done a little over a year ago by the previous owner, but now it's was coming off one of the rear seals. Right now it's sitting in the lot at work with pump out of it, and hopefully sitting at Amazing Auto Imports in Richmond awaiting a rebuild.
After exhausting the forum and google searches I've found that nobody has really posted any kind of a step by step guide to removing these pumps, so I figured I'd give it a shot. I've got the rough draft done and a bunch of pics on my phone, I'll just have to get it all collaborated once I get the pump back in and running. Hopefully sooner rather than later

Meanwhile here is a pic of the old girl;
