Did several searches and could not find my answer. Can anyone confirm what the part number is for glow plug at Napa for the L400 ???
I found a post referencing Napa part number 2161, but I think this is for the L300 instead. Anyone ? I'm in desperate need of them ASAP...

I've looked around, and haven't found a North American equivalent. Even CY55's are not available here.
Depending how desperate you are, the set I bought off ebay only took about a week, otherwise, left coast dealer + overnight shipping.

As far as I know you can't get them from NGK in North America. You can get them from Mitsubishi. I can't say if NAPA has any matching parts though. This is the reason so many deli dealers have strange brands from around the world - getting 4M40 plugs is not easy.
The best, apparently, are the CY55's from the UK.

William- Order the NGK CY 55's from Coombs. They are about $200 for 4 and they are awesome. Don't waste time and money with some of the other brands that work well for a bit. I got mine from there and have been really happy with them. They could probably express ship them out to you, but with New Years coming it may be a bit of a pain getting them ASAP.

If you need any help sourcing out some parts around here just drop me a PM. I want to find out from you where you are getting your Delica, or any of your JDM's, serviced. I am still looking for a trust worthy shop around here.

I have a spare set of used plugs sitting around right now, if you want to borrow them to get it up and rolling. I loaned them to another member when he was in town last spring and he used them for a week while he was waiting for his NGK's. They worked fine for him. Just a thought.

Thanks for the offer Craig. I just went to Napa and got the ones they had ( part number 2161 ) and they worked just fine. Cost me about $190 ish with my discount for the set of 4. Lesson learned though, have spare parts on hand. I'm going to order a service package from Japan next week.

And I usually just do my own work to cars. I do know a few good diesel mechanics in the Spruce Grove / Stony Plain area though if you ever get desperate. One guy in Stony I know does side work out of his garage and has a $60.00 per hour rate. Knows his stuff too.CREGAN wrote:William- Order the NGK CY 55's from Coombs. Good to know. I will keep that in mind next time something pops up that I can't handle. How are you liking the van?William wrote:And I usually just do my own work to cars.
