cracked timing cover!!!
So I put about 500km on the black pearl since I did the head and timing chain and it started leaking oil all over. I pulled it all apart and to my horror there is a crack in the timing chain cover right above the crank seal. So dose anyone know where to get a new cover? And what would cause this?

Re: cracked timing cover!!!
Without seeing how it is cracked, its hard to comment on why it cracked. I can pull one off a used engine if you need, but your most economical solution is probably to just take it to a welding shop that can weld aluminum and have it fixed.
