On sale are the sportRack basket
$175.99. It's what I use (with an extension). Just a heads up.

Did you use the brackets it came with or fab something else? For $176, that's pretty good value if it lasts a bit.

I have a couple used Thule racks. And a Yakima I got off Kijiji for 40$

They are pretty durable. Powder coated and tough
