L400 stock height measurements

Post by macro »

Just wondering if anyone out there with a stock L400 without sagging t-bars could give me the distance from the centre of their hubs to the top of the wheel arch on the front and back? I just want to know how much cranking my torsion bars lifted the front and air bags the back. I didn't take any "before" measurements because all four of my shocks were completely and totally shot. As the dents from the bump stops can attest to. Thanks in advance!!!

Have you checked any of the shop manual specs in the L400 Dedicated Category Reference Forum?

To be a pedant, shocks dont effect ride height, so having dead shocks wouldnt have made it sit lower for prior measurements.

That being said, who cares as long as you managed to stuff extra rubber under the arches, or even poking out of the arches!
