I read the very informative posting on the quarter panel leak and that I took care of that back in May. I can't seem to find the right treatment for the rear door, jack storage leak. Has any one successfully fixed that and if so what is the cure for this rather irritating leak?
Thank you all,
Daniel
So.... Do we know where the rear leak is coming in?

Hey Deli...
Try removing the signal/brake light cover and using a heavy silicone on both sides of the lense cover seal. That stopped the leak on mine. If that doesn't work spray talcum powder where you think it might be leaking. Water will build track marks on the talc and help you to the source. i also sealed the rear lift gate with silicone seal all around.

That sounds like good advice. Today I got a tube of foam gasket sealer at Can Ti. and I think that it will keep the water out.
Unless it doesn't work this is the end of this thread.
Thank you to ALL who make this forum what it is!!!

Re: So.... Do we know where the rear leak is coming in?
Little late on this one but our leak was coming from way up - from the "rear quarter panel" (on the high roof). I had to take that panel off and seal it. There are 2 plastic plugs that hold it on and the gasket had worn out. To remove it take out the 2 screws then there is a plug vertically from the top and one horizontally from the side. Careful, its very easy to snap the 15 year old plastic.
