I've had every light in my vehicle changed to theirs and only 1 has stopped working, I got quite a few hours out of it though. The ones I bought from Autolismo are all still working as well, but there was some bad soldering that caused a couple of the led's within the bulb to go out.

If you're looking for a complete unit, http://sewardoffroad.com/twin has some good products at decent prices. I've tried ordering these types of lights on Ebay, but didn't save that much and they all leak. I just ordered some very bright LED H3 headlight bulbs on Ebay though, so hopefully those work out.

I'm running standard ten watt bulbs. What I really want are the stock eight watt bulbs. I have green gels over the map lamps in the cockpit which temper the light some but I still find them on the bright side, plus the lamps tend to get hotter with the ten watt bulbs.

Incidentally, I changed my oil and filter, rotated my tyres and repainted my drums and callipers.

Painted the fades lettering on my fog lamp covers. If it ever stops raining in Edmonton I could undercoat and paint the brake calipers. Still trying to figure out how the TV in my delica works or what to do with it.

I sold it.

Guess I'm more old hippy than soccer mom.

Actually, it came down to finances. I like both vans for different reasons, so I can't say I'm that sad to see my L400 go. It sure was nice though - especially the passing loaded semi's part.

It is going to a good home - someone who has deep enough pockets to do all the preventative work that I just couldn't afford to get to.

And now, my L300 is getting a new lease on life.

Here is my last shot of it - our first, and last camping trip (Whitby Island)

Thanks - I know we will - starting with beachside in Oregon next weekend.

In the spirit of this thread - today my L300 just got brought back to life. Here is the list of new parts:
New head - Complete (I didn't want to swap all the old parts into a new head - a little extra piece of mind)
head gasket
new head bolts
intake/exhaust manifold gasket and injector heat shield/gasket
timing belt/balance belt, oil seals
tensioners
water pump
new balancer shaft bearing and sleeve
oil pump O ring
injection pump main seal
fuel return pipe
valve cover gasket
cooling fan and clutch assembly
Fluids

I already had a new radiator and hoses - so I'm expecting to be trouble free for the near future.

I pick it up on Monday. After 6 months of sitting in my driveway, it will be good to be back in the saddle.

I saw this stuff on TV and also noticed CT had it. The web site and You tube look pretty impressive. It sure looks good now. I'll see if the $20 is worth it and it really lasts 2 years. I did the black plastic on the Bambi bars with Armour All 2 weeks ago so I'll really have something to compare it to. The process is pretty easy and the little bottle really goes a long way.

I always like seeing what you've come up with!
What do you attach everything to? Also, what did you cover your windows with? I wouldn't mind blocking off my rears ones as well.

I am refurbishing my turbo... This will take me a few days. Why? Because I'm taking my time (I can afford it) and I like to understand how the rest of the stuff is organized and I can clean around at the same time. Oh and I drink beer everytime I do some work on the Yeti.

Cheers!
