T-SHIRTS

Post by Rattlenbang »

When I used to be part of the Westy crowd I knocked off a few T-shirt designs. Now that I have a Delica, it seemed appropriate that I do the same for the Delica crowd. I make next to nothing on these, but it's fun and builds community.

These are the designs I've come up with. I'll be doing some L300 ones next.

I opened a store at Wordans at http://westywear.wordans.com/my/boutique?page=4

I've only set it up for men's styles, black and white. The quality of the shirts and printing is very good. If you want a different kind of shirt, a woman's style or whatever just PM me. If you poke around the site you'll see there are tons of clothing options, but I have to create each product manually and it's a real time consuming chore, so I'll only make them as requested.

I would like one of those without the subscript, so it just said: "DELICA"

My wife would kill me if I got one with the jeep subscript...

Great idea, Rattlenbang and I love the designs, just don't forget ~ the special lunch box on wheels Starwagon, eh?
It's about time we had new t-shirts. There were other t-shirts a couple of years back but we haven't seen any new ones lately.
"If I'm going to hell ~ I'm going in a Delica!" - from a bumper sticker off a Starwagon from Japan.

Gah, that's the second request I've gotten for changing the logo. Problem is to provide a "custom" logo is it's at least another half hour of work, and I've already put many hours into this, with lots more to come with the L300 shirts. Having said that I *would* be willing to do a T-shirt with both Delica models on it with just "Delica" as text.

It was a good one to be sure ~ but I think we need to have some Delica image t-shirts, too. Good to change it up a little. Nice colour on the Space Gear. I still like the Jeep sub script.

What kind of L300 image did you have in mind, Rattlenbang?

Similar to the L400, but the two tone paint.

That was 2008?!? Wow, time does march on. I like that shirt and still wear mine. It is showing its age though...
I'm totally up for a new shirt and a new design. Good on ya for doing it Rattlenbang. Looking forward to seeing your L-300 design.
Thanks! :)

I like the version with Delica in the stencil font...but also would prefer it without any of the bottom slogan. I'd likely buy that but I'm in no hurry for a new shirt now that its summer and just a speedo will do me just fine.

Shirts with slogans remind me of the 70's when everyone wore t-shirts with slogans they thought were witty like "How can I soar like an Eagle when I'm working with Turkeys?"...groan...

Just like shirts with circles, triangles and wavy lines in bright colours remind me of the 80's and any t-shirt that is utterly boring reminds me of the 90's and t-shirts that look like they were from the 70s80s90s but that fit 3sizes too tight and fall apart after 2 washes remind me of the 00's.

I want an L300 shirt - My personal preference is having just a small chest crest but on the right side not the left.
Cause that's the way we drive!!!!!

Had a thought: Cartoon Starwagon with balloon tyres and a Mickey Mouse style white glove "thumbs up" protruding from the driver's right hand window and the sub-script:
  • "Keep On Trucking."

Huzzah!

That's a great idea, but damn, I could spend a lifetime making these things up! I'm not a pro, so each one takes days.
