after spending the morning helping the decorator I managed to flatten the battery on the truck! looking for a couple of connections, Mitzi wiring is a freaking nightmare!!! I think its payback for nukeing them
so I need
headlight switch feed
dipped lights out from the switch
side lights out from switch
wiper feed (slow wipe) from switch
the other 8 connections I need I found easy but these.....
yeah you can laugh! just as I think I've found the above wires I flick the light switch or turn the key and it goes tits up! feeds drop off and outputs disapear not to return again or shift elsewhere!
Help!!!!

Re: Help!!!!
I am not sure I understand what you are asking, you have a flat battery and you are looking for the wiring in the van?
Why not charge the battery?

The section you need starts on page 35 of the attached PDF file.
I can't gaurantee the wire color codes are exact but at least you can track the wires/power supply in the steering column.
Curious question: Why are you checking this system? Do you suspect a parasitic drain on battery power? The combination switch in the steering column has at least 2 configurations. One with a variable timer(delay) front wiper and standard on/off rear wiper or variable timer front and rear. I have seen both in the L400's.
Happy hunting, electrical can a real pain without proper schematics and wire color coding.

Re: Help!!!!
I'm trying to install an auto lights on system, the system has a link to the wipers, the interior lights and had a time delay system on it, if it works it should automatically switch the lights on when it get dark, then when you park up at night it will keep the lights on for 30 seconds and flick the lights on when you switch the wipers on as an added safety feature when it's raining
Well that the idea! From what I can gather they switch the grounds at the stalks so I'll have to dig a bit deeper and find the power lines at the relays in the boards....oh deep joy!

Re: Help!!!!
If your Delica has the factory light sensor its located on the driver's side of the dash close the wind shield.
Look for a square black plug. Mine had a wire connector clipped to a dummy plug.(sensor was not installed on my model)
