So I was driving up to the dump after work today, from the far south end of town to past the far north end, on the Gold River Hwy. I picked a guy up who, going by his kit, was clearly a climber. Sure enough he was going to the Strathcona Lodge and into the mountains. He was at the wrong end of town for that and I was going to the right so he hopped in. "Cool vehicle - my last ride was the very same as this." Nice to know delicas are out there spreading good energy. He said the woman who drove the last one had a lino floor in hers too. Are you on here? The hitcher got a ride real quick after I dropped him too, as he was gone by the time I had dumped my brush as was heading for home.
Maybe another deli helped him on his journey....

Re: Delicas and hitchhikers...
I often help hitchhikers, despite the bewildered looks on their faces when they think i am letting them drive. I especially will give them a short ride to a better freeway entrance for them to hitch at. Its all good karma. christine.
