Possible option - Glow Plugs

Post by Firesong »

Followed up some Glow plugs being used in the UK for the L400
They have the same issues, some burning out quick
others giving a year maybe 2 of life. (of Mits, NGK, bosch etc)
A couple of people were doing ok with the
NGK Glow Plug Y-115T1 - so far running 2 years on them for one
and a year and running for the other.

Nice thing is price. Just had a set of 4 shipped to me (enroute) from the
UK for $57.00 Canadian. I figured it would be nice to have a back up
set of plugs and for that price I can handle putting them aside till I need them.

I know everyone has their own opinion on what you should put in your van.
This thread isn't for your opinion, just a heads up on another option you
might decide to follow.
Cheers!

p.s. Having back surgery sucks.. but wait till my wife gets the credit card
bill for all the extra shopping I do online. ;)
I get so much time to follow up on stuff and see how things work!
