Mitsubishi Delica L400 production commenced in 1994 -- After much anticipation, the L400 arrived on Canadian Soil in 2009!

ECS button

Post by patriceboivin »

I was wondering what it does, found this link:
http://www.delica.ca/forum/l400-stock-s ... 10590.html

How can I tell if it works or not? Should I notice a difference?

since I posted this I found this thread on the UK site: http://www.mdocuk.co.uk/forums/viewtopi ... 947312aea7

So many buttons...

I fixed my "i" button and front wiper heater button problem, discovered I could just pull them out of the dash and swap them.
Now my "i" button directs the parking pole, and the amber light button (I imagine, can't verify because it's not cold) the front wiper heaters.

I believe the empty connector near the grille was for fog lights, even though there is no relay for them in the engine bay relay box and no dangling wires inside the dash where the fog button would normally be. I also don't have the rear fog light; though I still think it's weird they would have only put it on the driver's side instead of both sides. :?

am pretty sure now that the ECS button doesn't do anything, I read that for ECS to work you need the OEM shocks.

I don't have the OEM shocks, mine are bright red.

I doubt Mitsubishi makes bright red shocks.

I noticed on the UK forum they sometimes say they purchase shocks from "Mitsu" --> I decided to ask Mitsubishi Motors UK if they are willing to supply OEM parts for Delicas.
Probably they won't respond (Mitsubishi Motors Canada only replied once to me and they didn't seem to have a clue).
