Hi Folks,
time for me to introduce myself and my van as I'm reading in this forum already some time...
My name is Hans alias "Bugbeat" and am living in Lübeck, north of Germany.
A year ago I bought a 2001 L300 LWB 2.5 TD from Austria. Last Winter I spent most of the time with repairs and the tranformation to a camper van.
Last summer it has been successfully tested on a road trip to Istanbul and back (8000kilometers).
Modifikations to come:
-Spare wheel carrier in the back
-new clutch and overhaul of the joints of the center drive shaft
-stronger springs for the rear axle
-modifications on the camper interior
-EGR closure
Looking forward to a nice information exchange,
cheers
Bugebat

Welcome to Delica Canada, Hans
It's not often that we see a long wheel base Starwagon. Pretty cool, wot?
Look forward to hearing more about your wagon!
Falco.
P.S.: How many inches between the axles (centre to centre)?
