Here's a first for me. The t-case lever linkage broke today. I suspect a pin fell out when I shifted into 4WD mode. I have never had this happen on any 4x4 i have owned.
Gives me a reason to install the new super select switches (flashing yellow light) on top of the tranny. This should prove interesting!

I'll wait for some nice warm weather before climbing under to check those switches. How did you make out??

Have the new switches.
Now i need a warm day. Started snowing the day I was gonna roll under my Deli on the creeper. The lnikage is not borken thankfully, just a pin fell out. Still tight work space. Probably gonna have to lower the tranny and engine to make some hand-space at the tranny tunnel.
(not a fun job!!!!)

Re: Loosey goosey t-case lever
Got the t-case lever opened up today.......not good. Cracked and broke the end off. Need a new t-case shift lever now.
Thankfully it was easy to remove and the carpet didn't need to be pulled to do it. With the e-brake unbolted and moved aside it gave adequate access to the 6-10mm bolts that hold the boot in place and the 3-12mm nuts hold the lever and plate to the top of the transfer case.

You must shift into 4x4 with great enthusiasm ;)
I'd just weld it back together or ask a welder to do it.
Should take only a few minutes.
