I've been looking around for a lockable ratchet strap for the stuff I leave on my roof rack. I can't find a whole lot, especially in Canada. I can get my hands on the viper locking ratchet strap but the reviews are all garbage and the Everest version I can't seen to get in the 1.5" x 17' version. Is anybody using something else or tire rigged up there own version?
Thanks
Travis
Anyone using a lockable ratchet strap?

Re: Anyone using a lockable ratchet strap?
I used to use a regular ratchet strap to tie everything down, and a bicycle lock for security.
I've seen locking ratchet straps in stores here in New Zealand, but couldn't figure out how they stop someone with a pair of scissors from cutting the strap.

Nothing says "poor workmanship" more than wrinkles in the duct tape.

Actually, that's a good call. I will likely do the same. Thanks for you reply.
