rearview mirror trim
How do you remove the plastic trim around the rearview mirror stalk? The car alarm install guy accidentaly broke the trim while trying to mount the antenna, so I need to get a replacement peice. I showed the broken part to the boss and he told me to let him know how much the part cost and he would pay me back! Nice!

Re: rearview mirror trim
It pops off - it is only held on by four little tabs either side. Slide a large (wide) flat blade screw driver under the trim from either side (side works better than from the front) and twist/lever it slowly until it pops off....simple.
I'll have a look in the garage tonight to see if I have a spare one....if I have it won't cost much to post it to you. Yours for $0.00 if I can find one.
