I make up the time lost by hitting the bicycle/pedestrian buttons at crosswalks without getting out. THe bicycle ones are super easy, just drive up and push, the pedestrian ones i usually reach into the back for a piece of emt or pvc pipe.
"if its so hard to pull on your knob, put some greese/wd40 on the shaft and pull in and out, that should make it happen for you."
