It is so cold in Vancouver today ~ that I decided to wear a long sleeve shirt.

Yuck!!

I checked the Environment Canada forecast - fortunately, it looks like all the snow will have melted and it'll be nice and warm and sunny by the time I get there to pick up my Deli on Monday.

Only four more days!!! (yes, the excitement is building!!)

This was quite a surprise this morning, nothing when I woke up, but 1/2 inch by the time I got out of the shower.
Hardly noticed on the way in, my Deli loves this stuff. Wasn't until I got to work that I heard about how many people turned around and went home. No worries, typical Calgary spring weather. We'll be in the 20's on Sunday, but poor Vancouver, looks like more rain for you! :-P

And just the other day I was bemoaning the lack of opportunity to put Bork into 4X4. Well, the 8 inches of slushy snow (now quickly melting in the sunshine - standard 'spring' weather really) made my morning commute quite the adventure. Too bad I washed it yesterday...

Well, the forecast called for "chance of flurries." Guess we didn't get flurries. :-D We got about 10 inches. It didn't affect me getting to work by bus, but it wiped everyone else out. My school has 400 students, by about 10 am we only had 100, and 1/2 the teachers.

At about 4:30 it started snowing again, but by 5:30 the sun was out. Forecast for tomorrow is 12 degrees, so it should all be gone by tomorrow. Just our usual "drive-by" weather.

So, turf'd, is it your fault that we got snow because you washed your Deli yesterday? Or is it that I washed my Deli yesterday that caused it?

Erebus, I think that the only way a storm like that could be brought down would be for several Delicas to be optimistically washed in the 'spring' sunshine. So I guess it's both our faults...
