Doors rattle like crasy when shutting

Post by snelson »

Hey guys, I've had my Delica for a few days now and I've noticed that when closing the doors the glass rattles like crazy - like there's some part/guide missing?
Is this common?
Thanks
Steve

Sounds like the rubber seals are shot to me, though it could well be something more mechanical. Hazel's widow seals are in rough condition as well and I am hoping to replace them. Anyone done it? Is it epic  ? And do any of you suppliers out there carry them?

I always close my front windows before I close the doors, that way there isn't the crazy noise

Both Coaxial and Mdrive have it, it shouldn't be your seals, the channel make more sense. Or save the money and follow Coaxial's idea...

I'd check with some of the local part guys that could surely find you some decent used channels for cheaper... Just post your request and you'll hear back for sure!
