Greetings from Terra 2 Imports! (with pics)

Post by terra2imports »

We wanted to take a minute to introduce ourselves to the members of Delica.ca as we have recently started advertising our vehicles for sale here.

A couple of our promo vehicles:

How we started importing Japanese cars:
At one point we were the customer looking for the trustworthy importer to deal with, an enthusiast with the same priorities as us. Someone we could communicate with easily, someone we could rely on, and most importantly, someone we could trust.

And so, Terra2 was created, to give us enthusiasts the opportunity to do what we love, play with cars all day, and provide our clients with access to the highest quality vehicles at dealer cost for anyone willing to make the smart investment. This is our dream job, we don't plan on going anywhere but up. With hundreds of vehicles imported from Japan since 2004 you can rest assured that you are dealing with experienced importers with your best interests in mind.

We come from an enthusiast background, 2 of us are a part of the founding members of a local non-profit car club, Northwest Nissans. After 7 years, the club we helped establish now has over 10,000+ registered members.

We started Terra2 as an alternative to what we dislike ourselves: used car salesmen.

We have the same priorities and ideals as enthusiasts and we see the value in quality vehicles, not just the cheapest vehicle that can be imported. You get what you pay for in this market.

Our Company Vision:
“ The higher the quality of the cars we import,
the better our reputation will be,
the further our business will go,
and the less problems for everyone in the long run."
Delica.ca and Terra2:

We're strong believers in enthusiast organizations so if there's anything we can do to help the club, please let us know. We've been linking to delica.ca from our Mitsubishi Delica page since you guys started which Mark says is helping bring new members in.

We're tossing the idea around of offering special incentives JUST for Delica.ca members but haven't finalized anything yet. We definitely intend to come out to one of your meets this summer and are looking forward to meeting more Delica fanatics. :)

Sincerely,

Gerry, Colin, Nick, Jenn & Susan

Okay, repeat question from a different thread:

"How does the sliding door get around that monster fender flare?"

Is there some sort of adjustment, or do you just not use the sliding door? Or does it 'fit' without any adjustment?

There is a bracket of some type that's inserted between the rear factory slider. I'll take a picture of it when I get a chance and post it up.

Spotted the Monster Beastie parked on the side of the Lougheed Highway today... damn, does she look good! ...and high...!

Interesting to note from the shot on the hoist that theres not that much travel in the suspension. Hmmm... Unless you have locked it up somehow?

Nice rig - would love to see a photo of that bracket. I've got quite a bit of offset on my rim/tire combo and find the sliding door binding on the rear tire ever so slightly. The door is still functional - but certainly an annoyance and looking to fix it eventually.
All the best.

Body lift. Lots of it.

I saw it underneath parked outside. Nice work whoever did it.

Quite a few Pajero's with 6-8" body lifts as well. Much much easier to do then susp and easier to pass inspection as well.

They look great but it's 99% cosmetics. The articulation is very minimal because the monster tires won't be able to squeeze in past the wheel wells.

I tried out a Pajero with 35's and it was slower than my grandma on a tricycle. But man does it look great.

Not very functional but looks great 8-)

Looks nice but performance will be very sloppy, no power, poor braking unless brake is upgraded.

First you tease me with the "deals of the week" and now THIS??? Sweet rig!

Jfarsang... I understand and sympathize with your cause re: language but I have to admit a thought came to mind that if the young'un read AND understood "the word", it's already too late. If he didn't understand "the word"... there's no need to elaborate. Easier to explain tho than the comment about the shop equipment (I thought it really funny and have giggled every time I scroll past it).

Forgive my little tongue-in-cheek blurb. Should try to keep it clean tho for the benefit of all... I'm sure it was an oversight that will be fixed.

Now... if we can get more 10 year olds to read AND understand the Tech section... we could come home from work and have all sorts of new mods on our Delis done under the guise of "homework".
