I'm currenty looking for a new used vehicle. I havent decided yet but I am leaning towards the Delica . I also have the Pajero and Landcruiser in mind as well. The question I have is , is there any dealers of JDM cars that take trade in's ? This seams to be my stumbling block right now. I see lots of vans listed but they all seem to be a just the imports shop not on "lots".
Thank you
I need a bit of help

Re: I need a bit of help
Most dealers of JDMs want JDMs as trade in, unless they sell North American cars - but even then they probably are looking for the unique. That's why we are going to sell our North American van privately after our delica gets off the boat - because our dealer (Japanoid) doesn't take LHDs as trade ins. It's a very small inconvenience to pay for the great vehicle you'll get.

PS - there are a few lots around the lower mainland to which you can go and look and test drive:
Japanoid in New West
One in Abbotsford (I forget the name)
Silkroad Autos in Surrey
5 Star Auto / Coombs Country Auto in Parksville (not lower mainland, I know)
Even some dealers like Terra2 and Maximum Overdrive have cars in Canada that you can look at before buying.
And, of course, there are private sales.
Check the for sale section of this forum for all of the above.

Re: I need a bit of help
Try 5 Star. They sell all types of cars and trucks. They might take a trade in. They're good to deal with and, as a bonus, Glen at cc autos does the mechanical work. Can't go wrong.
