I was in my local Cambodian Tire today and I saw that they had a 1000W inverter on sale for $79.99. It's the larger model that has to be wired up to your battery.
Just thought I'd mention it

I bought that one on the same deal a while back. Installed it and it caught on fire! I think I had a faulty unit and would probably get one again as they are quite cheap in price compare to everything else, just beware I guess or better luck than me!
