Hi,
I want to fix the two broken sunshade and I found this neat idea to do that on flickr. Basically you have a small metal bracket pop riveted to blind holds closed with rare earth magnets. But so far I couldn't find this magnets in Vancouver. Any idea where I could get them?
Thanks

Great idea, I used a L type bracket that I force to the back side of the headliner. It stays until I hit a bump. I like the idea of the magnets. I will keep my eye open for them.

www.dealextreme.com is where i've bought a stack of magnets in the past.
Another trick that may work is magnetic clasps used in jewelery these days, on eBay i see them listed fairly cheaply.

Hi Felix, Jay has a pop riveter if you want to use it. Also has a variety of Stainless nuts and bolts if you want to try a few sizes. Stop by anytime. Christine.

Hey Christine, I'll give you a call soon. Just too busy at work this week. Probably will work on our Dino this or next weekend. Thanks anyway. See you soon.TardisDeli wrote:Hi Felix, Jay has a pop riveter if you want to use it. Also has a variety of Stainless nuts and bolts if you want to try a few sizes. Stop by anytime. Christine.
